Of Note:
The Goldenson Building is one of 5 original monumental marble structures at Harvard Medical School that form to create the main Quad of the school. Designed by Shepley Rutan & Coolidge and opened in 1906 these structures are built entirely of Dorset Marble and brick backup.
Restoration of this building includes extensive stone replacement, stone dutchman repairs, stone parapet rebuilding and stabilization. cleaning, and repointing.
This project is another highly collaborative effort between Grande, Walsh Brothers, and Foster Architect and is schedule for completion in November 2025.
